The Beginning Thu 10/16/2008

Because I got in so late, we slept in today, and then tried to do all the last minute packing. What were we thinking?! I think we had planned on leaving for Cincinnati around 3pm or so. I had enough Wyndham Rewards points to get a free room at the Baymont Inn, Airport there .... and guess what? They had "Park, Stay and Fly" so we could park the car there for free!! That would save us about $70-$80!!! So we got packed and ready to go about 5:30pm. We stopped at my Mom's to leave Tia, our Chihuahua, with Granny for the time we would be away.

Then we were off on vacation!! My Tom-Tom tried to take us about 50 miles out of the way, good thing I knew about where we were going! We got to the Cincinnati area about 2 hours later and stopped at Applebee's for a light dinner. Soup, salad, and a Key Lime Shooter! With a coffee and Bailey's to drink. Satisfied, we got back in the Cruiser and went across the Ohio river into Northern Kentucky, where the Cincinnati airport and our hotel are located. We found the hotel and got checked in about 10:30pm.
